 Mission
and Description
Established in 1987, NMARL is an association for New Mexico's librarians
and other library professionals and paraprofessionals. NMARL members come
from college, university, and research libraries throughout the state.
NMARL is the state chapter of the Association
of College and Research Libraries (ACRL), a division of the American
Library Association.
NMARL's mission is to:
Sponsor educational programs of interest to librarians and staff members
from academic or research libraries.
Foster the professional growth and development of librarians and staff
members from academic or research libraries.
Represent the interests and concerns of academic and research librarians
in New Mexico
Cooperate with other educational and library organizations in New Mexico
